no it dont even get that far when i open it it just goes to the boot screen 
then to a screen 
that says it needs a password

I bought a older laptop last sat. at a flea market that has to have

  password and i didnt think to ask, when i turn it on it goes to a 

  page that says its needs a password to open it i cant get in to the

  set up program or the bios to change the password i opened the laptop

  and took the com's ? battery out for 1 hour and put it back in but it

  didnt 

  reset the bios at all i didnt see any jumpers to reset the bios either 

  this laptop has only a floppy and no cd rom its a Dell latitude cpx

  model number ppx tag number legc i contacted Dell and they told me

  they couldnt help me or give me the 1st owners name or address what

  can i do to unlock this laptop or did i just wast my money to buy it ?

  any help would be great thanks in advance
