Hi Everyone....and Bixen (who does a great job as moderator of this group),
If you don't agree with other members, feel undervalued, think your solutions
disregarded...then get out, join a group where their philosophy mirrors yours.
You can then have intelligent discussions in which you will be regarded as an
important contributor, not the catalyst for moronic virtual fights. I could
never understand the mentality of those who would rather spend their time
perpetuating negative bickering, rather than productive positive discussions.
The only thing exposed by bickering is the character of those participating.
It is not flattering and the effect is 180 degrees opposite of what you hope to
achieve. Thinking in the little picture blocks the big one!
I cannot seem to get out of this group, the number of emails unacceptable. The
silly arguments don't speak well of a group that is designed to help people
with computer problems. People ask for help, "experts" offer their solutions,
we are all mature enough to realize that in life there is more than one path to
a solution, each with their own merit, each open to discovery. It is up to the
person asking for help to decide which works best for their system, and it is
the obligation of those offering not to start a war over a difference of
opinion. I have more important things to do with my time than be forced to
delete the multitude of moronic ridiculous ego based posts.
Could the moderator, Bixen please remove me from the group...even if it means
banning me...I can no longer use the Yahoo name I signed up with and have no
way, that I can find, of exiting gracefully...I have been trying!
I appreciate any help I can get ... right now the emails go straight to delete,
I just don't want to deal with this any further...
One further comment, this group could be of great value to members, but the
expertise of the group gets lost in ego and the need to always have the last
word. For those who perpetuate or institute the arguments, you do yourselves
and the group a disservice. In a nutshell you make yourselves look like
unstable morons.
