Why not take the computer with Vista, and ask Dell if they will install XP
before it leaves they factory, if you purchase it,
You can get XP a new copy on Ebay a lot cheaper than you can Vista, That way
you can try both at your leisure. I have the Vista on my new computer and
don't like it. For me it's a learning curve.
