It might have something to do with XP's automatic adjustments for
daylight savings time. If you're in the US the government changed the
dates for DST this year and it kinda threw a wrench into XP's
auto-adjustments. Microsoft released a patch to fix it which is
included in one of MS's auto-updates. But the simplest thing is to just
re-set it yourself.
