Jim, use CCleaner. You go to Tools, then Startup. Make your changes there. It works well in Vista!

To: [email protected] Date: Wednesday, December 17, 2008, 11:03 AM Until recently I have been poo pooing all the negative Vista comments because they are just bad press. But I have found one Vista feature that I don't like. It has to do with turning off start up items. I use StartupCPL to do this. But with Vista when I uncheck an item it immedialy is copies and checked, this happens with any item. I do not like being forced to run start up items that way. I suppse that there is some other way to stop start ups, but I don't know what it is.
