Hi,

First did u find out y ur monitor is going out all time. If its Gateway's
fault and after they have repaired the monitor u still have 90 days to
ensure that the monitor is not " automatically" damaged unless its tampered
by customer.

SVGA is nearly outdated and now U have HDMI and that port would be with your
HDTV as well as the port on your notebook pc if not let me know the model #
for your HDTV and the Gateway notebook. Will advice then. Software will
depends on the OS and the port you are using.
