First , congrats on your new LCD - It would be great if you would have
mentioned what notebook you are using. and second where is the resolution
set ( 1280 x 800 ) on LCD or Notebook?
you might have to install display drivers for the same. maybe form you
notebook manf or display manf.

what operating system are you using?
