Thanks, Trouble. There's a further choice, Computer Management/Storage and then you get to Disk Management. Just for the heck of it I tried to change the drive letters for the USB ports but that didn't work. Now I'm going to see about deleting the extras and maybe that will move them all up.
I looked and I can delete them from the Device Manager location but I will wait to hear what you all think about that. It appears to me that if I plug a flash drive in it will just bring up another letter so the four removable disk drives could be deleted without a problem Of course, that's a moot point since the one remaining usb slot on the new hub doesn't see the drive. It works fine with my microphone, my camera cards and the external drive so that's okay. Let me know about deleting G, H, I and J.
