Well, your pics might be lost forever. But there is a pretty fair
chance they're still there and can be recovered.

Try downloading a free, file recovery utility like this one:

I've never used this particular program, but it seems to be highly
rated. Maybe someone else can suggest a different one.

When you say you formatted your "camera", do you mean you formatted the
little SD card that can be removed from the camera and attached to your
computer? Most cameras have 2 kinds of storage - built-in internal
memory, and a removable memory card (SD card). You have to figure out
which one you formatted. How do you attach your camera to the computer
- do you use a USB cable?

Anyway, after you download and install Pandora, plug your camera (or SD
card) into your PC. Then start Pandora. Your camera (or SD card) will
show up as a drive letter. It will be called something like "removable
drive F:", or maybe even show the brand of the camera. You need to
point Pandora to this drive, and ask it to find deleted files. It
hopefully will find all your pictures and ask if you want to copy them
to your computer.
I'm optimistic, heh.
Good luck,
Donk
