Yeah, apparently you can't upload an entire folder to Skydrive or Google Docs yet. (It's planned for the future maybe). I "think" that the link I sent to the Google Drive Shell Extension app will let you do it. Here's a link directly to it: http://www.viksoe.dk/code/gmail.htm But since this is a 3rd party app, you never know if (or when) Google might disable it.
You mentioned that you use Carbonite? I've heard very good things about them - they are a "true" online backup service. They will likely let you upload folders, drag & drop folders, and even have the option of real-time syncing with your computer and your online backup. So why not use them if you've already got an account? Also - here's a link to another online backup site called Dropbox which is very popular. They offer (I think) 2GB for free, and then charge a little more for each additional GB: http://www.dropbox.com/ Good luck, Donk On 11/1/2010 8:12 PM, catrina_satc2000 wrote: > or do you have to email contents of each folder? > > This emailing and saving isnt quite that easy-LOL > > you can only do one folder at a time-which is quite annoying > > There has got to be a better way! > > Catrina > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > If you have any questions or problems with any aspect of this site, please > feel free to contact me directly [email protected] Please do not post > personal issues directly to the group. > > To unsubscribe from this list, send an email to > [email protected] > > Thank you for using A-1 Computer TechYahoo!
