Is there an option to "continue the installation"? If so, just continue
and ignore the warning message. Microsoft wants the manufacturer of
"every" hardware device ever built, to give them a copy of the software
so they can test it on windows. Now and then you'll come across devices
that haven't been "approved" by Microsoft - but usually you can go ahead
and install the driver and the device will work fine.

However, be sure to check the system requirements of the printer (you
can find them in the manual, or get the manual from the printer maker's
website). Be sure that you have a version of Windows that the printer
requires. Sometimes a really old printer won't run on Vista or Win7.
And sometimes a brand new printer won't run on Win98 or Win95.

If you supply the printer brand and model number, and the version of
Windows you have, I'll check to see it the printer is supported.
Anyway, I'd still say go ahead and install the printer drivers according
to the printer manual, and just ignore the warning message. It might
work fine - if not you can simply uninstall the drivers.

Good luck,
Donk
