Download.com lists a lot of (supposedly) free converters that will do it. http://download.cnet.com/windows/ Just do a search for .flv converter. Then filter the results by clicking the "free" button on the left side of page. If you do buy one, be sure to try it first. I think a while back I tried a .flv to .avi converter and the audio was out of sync when it was done.
