Well, most people think Windows 7 is a much better operating system than 
Vista. It takes a while to get used to using Win7, but it is much more 
stable than Vista.  But doing an upgrade from Vista is prob not a great 
idea if your Vista is not working very well.  You'd be better to erase 
everything and install Win7 from scratch.

Most major computer brands ship with a way to do a "factory" restore 
with just a few clicks - no disks needed.  If you tell me the 
brand/model of your computer I can check to see if this is an option for 
you.
