Donk, Thank you for the advice. Actually, the video is in .flv format and it was recorded from the Internet (Live Streaming) but I have not downloaded it yet because it's too long (more than 2 hours). I just want to copy a specific portion which I think the duration is about 10 minutes or less. I want that portion be uploaded on my Youtube account. Hoping you could still help me regarding this. There are various file formats, and compression codecs and most are at least somewhat incompatible with each other. And many of the tools to convert video from one file format to another are way less than perfect - often leaving you with audio sync problems or poor video quality. So... the answer to your question first depends on what file format your 2 hour video is in? Window's built-in Movie Maker software will work with .wmv and .avi files nicely (usually).
