Yahoo is a web based email service... so your email is kept on "the 
cloud".  So, as far as I know, nothing you could have done with Win7 
could have erased your mail.  It's almost certainly gotta still be there 
at Yahoo.  And rebooting can't hurt a thing.

I suggest you try again logging into your Yahoo account and poking 
around to find your mail.  If you did a fresh install of Win7 (not the 
upgrade) all of your cookies will be gone (unless you re-installed a 
backup of your browser's settings), so your browser might not take you 
directly to it like it used to.
Win7 is great once you get used to it and get it configured the way it 
works best for you.

PS:  I'm sure you know this, but... if you go to the main Yahoo site ( 
http://www.yahoo.com/ ), you'll have to find the "My Yahoo" link and 
then log into your account to get your email.
