Well, if a hacker has compromised your gmail account and had enough
time, he/she likely changed ALL your recovery info including your
security questions and recovery phone number. If you are sure this is
what happened, sadly, there's not much you can do.
Here's a google site that helps explain what happened, and there's a
link there to their "Account Recovery Form". So fill out the form and
hopefully they'll either get you back in, or at least delete the account:

If you do get back in of course re-set all your security info, but make
sure the hacker hasn't left himself a back door by allowing multi
logins, or message filters, etc.
