Hi, I recently took over the maintainership of GNU a2ps, and prepared a new release candidate tarball.
http://people.debian.org/~mhatta/a2ps-4.13c-rc1.tar.gz (I don't have the permission to upload this to alpha.gnu.org yet) I only tested this on GNU/Linux -- so if you use any other platform, please give it a try.
