I really don't know whether a server like this could be deployed on the cloud. In my case, and beginners like me, maybe don't need a powerfull server like the one Sylvain described (but other configuration could be thought for advanced guy like him ;-) ). How much to pay and for how much time i don't know, but the idea is to to make easier the entrance of people in the community, in that sense one "simple" machine could help and the money would pay to let the machine online.
