I just don't hear it. Lots of A sections end on the dominant. In
classical music, virtually all the first sections of binary dance
movements (and the sonata-form movements that grew out of them) in
major keys on the dominant. This detracts not a bit from the
underlying tonality of the piece. Are you telling me that if you
played the A section by itself it would sound tonally resolved? I
doubt many would agree.

That one I agree with, as I have said here before, but few of the
movers and shakers seem to agree. I think having abc represent
information that is not in "the tadpoles" (except for header info
related to the tune's provenance) is asking for trouble.
