Subject: announcement abctab2ps 1.0

would you please be so kind to forward the following
announcement to the abc mailing list?

----------------------------------------------------------

Dear abc community,

eventually abctab2ps has arrived at version 1.0 and
is freely available from

http://www.emsland-aktuell.com/lautengesellschaft/cdmm/

>From the same site a GUI for Unix/X-Windows is available
in the form of an Nedit macro package.

abctab2ps is an abc->postscript converter based on and
compliant to abc2ps.

It has the following significant enhancements over abc2ps:

 - detailed user's guide and man page
 - support for various kinds of lute tablatures
 - support for 6-string guitar tablature
 - support for 4- and 5-string banjo tablature
 - dynamic memory allocation
 - additional music features (eg. M:none)

Have fun,

Christoph Dalitz
