I can only help you on this question. Dynamics marks < and > are not
currently supported in abcm2ps, but they are in another abc2ps variant,
jabcm2ps (http://www.guitarnut.com/abc/index.html). This one supports the
whole range of dynamics described in the ABC draft, so you may want to try
it out. However, abcm2ps' author J. F. Moine is very active and releases one
new version a week or so; stay tuned.
