I would recommend against it. I'm a member of four eGroups, including one
which I started and moderate. To my chagrin, I have learned --
-- That Customer Support from eGroups is virtually nonexistent. The only way
to contact Support is via a web form. Your trouble report will most likely
be ignored. If by chance you do see a reply, it will come after a delay of a
week or more, and it will be a canned answer that more likely than not will
ignore whatever issue you raised.
-- That eGroups has outages during which messages simply disappear.
