Sounds like a *really good idea to me - even though it won't solve the
problem entirely since not nearly all ABC applications are abc2ps clones.
Maybe this is the way to go for the new ABC standard. Rather than
discussing what ought to be, we could look at what extensions to the
standard actually exist and see how they can be fitted into the standard.
I think these are the most common abc2ps versions:
abc Coordinator
abc Coordinator isn't an independent program, but a common interface
for abc2ps, GhostScript and AbcMus.
