The program >already "knows" it needs to select everything in the window. :-) It's probably also worth mentioning that there *was* an issue around the aforementioned copy and paste buttons not always working properly under Win98 a few versions of abc2win ago - this was however fixed in version 2.1i. The current version (2.1k) is rock-solid on this.
