Not on *my* system it doesn't :^(
Anyway, the parts of a medley are often tunes in their own right. Maybe
the best solution would be a way to specify a layout like
+------------------------+------------------------+
| THE DUKE OF PERTH | Bar Trad. |
| RSCDS Book I | ====================== |
| | ====================== |
| The Duke of Perth Trad.| ====================== |
| ====================== | ====================== |
| ====================== | |
| ====================== | Baz Trad. |
| ====================== | ====================== |
| | ====================== |
| Foo Trad. | ====================== |
| ====================== | ====================== |
| ====================== | |
| ====================== | |
| ====================== | |
+------------------------+------------------------+
which today I'm writing like
X:0
T:The Duke of Perth
T:RSCDS Book I
R:Reel
K:G
X:1
P:The Duke of Perth
C:Trad.
R:Reel
M:C
K:G
...
X:1
P:Foo
C:Trad.
R:Reel
M:C
K:D
...
such that I could use »T:« for the titles of the subordinate tunes?
This would mean that there must be a way to arrange for the title of
the first »tune« to span the page in a suitably enlarged, bold,
... font but for the other tunes' titles to be displayed as »P:« is
today. This is something I would be perfectly happy with; in fact it
would please me even more than the current, slightly unsavoury
»solution« with »P:«.
