Interesting. I always thought of a tie as a special case of slur, both
meaning to link two notes together without a separate "attack" on the second
note. But -- all that aside -- I freely admit that my suggestion was a
shameless kluge. Which unfortunately fails in abc2midi.
What I really want to know, is who this "Kluge" character is, after whom
byzantine workarounds are named.... ;-)
Oh, and are there any other suggestions that might work in both yaps and
abc2midi?
