Thanks Henrik :-)

Well, I managed to locate the drinking song lyrics, but I suppose that's
not the original ones.

Which reminds me.
I suppose nobody at abcusers ever tastes anything with alcohol in it.
But if you do, and would like to try it the old Scandinavian way...
Here's a suite of songs celebrating the "dram" (a rather small glass of
very strong liquor). "Fjrran han drjer" is no. 3.
This is a Southern Norwegian version with lyrics in a curious, but very
appropriate mixture of various Norwegian and Swedish dialects. The
titles of the tunes are the names of the first, second, third, fourth
and fifth dram respectively. The sixth dram would be named "seksten".
There are no reports of a song to seksten, but that doesn't mean it
doesn't exist, of course. After all, reports tend to get a bit
unreliable after the fifth straight drink.
Performing this suite is quite simple. You fill your glasses, sing the
first verse, empty your glasses, fill your glasses, sing the second
verse etc.
Have fun!
Frank
