Greetings,

I've been playing with abc2midi and it is working well, except for one
"feature". It seems that the number of voices i(the V:n field) is limited
to 9. When I exceed 9 (I've been trying to prepare a 12 voice vocal score)
then the MIDI output includes all sorts of sounds I didn't anticipate;
several lines seem to get converted to percussion sounds. When I delete
the last 3 voice and it works. Is this a limitation of abc2midi? The
abcguide.txt is a bit ambiguous about the voice number, but implies that
perhaps it must be a single digit. If so, is there a way around the
problem?
thanks for any help!
Michae
