On October 21, 2001 the Boston Branch of the Cape Breton Gaelic Club will
celebrate their 60th Anniversary
A special day is planned for those that can attend.
We have invited Doug MacPhee, Piano player from Cape Breton to attend along
with Kay Basler MacDonald, Gaelic Singer from Cape Breton to come to
Watertown to perform.  Both have had a long connection with the Gaelic Club
while they resided in the Boston Area.  They are now living in Cape Breton.
Along with our two special guests, John Campbell (fiddler formerly from Cape
Breton) will have his several students perform for us, along with John
Campbell.  We have invited several members of the Club  to perform as well.
It will be a great afternoon of music, song and dance, as well as enjoying a
luncheon.

It will take place at the Canadian American Club, at 2PM,  202 Arlington St.
Watertown Ma..Sunday October 21, 2001.
A Hot and cold buffet will be served.
Admission for the event is $12.50

can pass the information on to your friends in the Boston Area.

Doug MacPhee and Kay MacDonald will be giving a work shop  in Belmont on
Sat. Oct, 20th. at 1PM.  It will take place at Mary MacGillivray's home. 60
Hurley St. Belmont, Ma.  You may Email Mary at [EMAIL PROTECTED]  for
further information.

Kay will give a Cape Breton Gaelic lesson of song and  vocabulary.
Doug will give a lesson on Piano, Cape Breton Style.
