What a lot of the musicians I play with do about that (for the
*second* time) is to mark the beginnings with a colored highlighter.
So I've toyed with suggesting that music printing programs have an
option to print the begin repeats in color. Which wouldn't do me much
good since I don't have a color printer at the moment. Historically,
the first music notation did use color to improve readability, but
these efforts got abandoned when they needed cheap music printing.
