It's not a test that came out of a perverted QA person's brain
(although I do have one of those).  It's a real-life example that I
only found out about on my web site because someone reported it.

Because consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds?  It prints
correctly whichever way I do it, so I don't always catch problems in
the MIDI.

In my case, I theoretically put in the begin repeats, but the score is
generated by a script, so I never actually look at it in a text
editor, and I only look at the part printout.  So expecting me to be
consistent in a framework I never look at is unreasonable.

I think it's a bug that  the same thing doesn't happen in a score.
