I don't know what the policy is on the ABC list
about mentioning software which you have to pay
for, but I am the creator of a program called
MusEdit which is fairly inexpensive ($79) and
handles standard notation, Tab, drum notation,
and many other things, and also has the ability
to import ABC files and convert them to standard
notation and also export standard notation as
an ABC file (or you can copy individual lines of
notation and paste them into text documents
as ABC notation). Please check out the

I'm monitoring the ABC mailing list to keep up to
date on the latest developments in ABC, and as soon
as the new standards have become formalized I'll be
updating MusEdit to handle all the newest features
of ABC notation.
