Proofreading something like that would be a pretty big job, for sure.

ISTR from previous discussion that abc2nwc is a Visual Basic app, am I
right ? No use on a linux box, if so ...

Quite right too - and there's the question of updates, etc; if one of the
VMP originals gets some typos fixed or other changes, you'd have to be
aware of that & update yours, or propagate outofdate versions ... better
would be if VMP transcribers could do this <fade out into usual thread>
