Linux Mandrake 8.0. It worked perfectly right out of the box, although it
took me some time to figure out how to install Java...

I know I'm not writing any software, but I think it's extremely important
with free software. IMHO abcm2ps is the superior abc implementation and
it's open source. And Jean-Francois is even *very* actively developing it.
I can live with the disabling of 'advanced' features, as long as that
doesn't include stuff like saving and printing... I would prob not use
anyway, I'll prob stick with abcm2ps, but some of my unsaved friends would
be easier to get started it there were a mature, free gui alternative for
their platform - you guessed it: windows...

I was just curious about what the heck skink was, and I can only say that
it looked nice, and that I hope you'll continue to develop it.
