I actually coded several tunes to play by the Qbasic PLAY command, but that was a very awkward way to do such, and I was overjoyed to discover ABC, which made the whole process much easier. The True Basic ABC player program on my website uses the SOUND command rather than the Play command, because one is not stuck with the options that PLAY allows.
