One thing I would like to see in abc 2.0, is a reference to Christoph Dalitz' abctab standard.

Abctab is an extension of the abc standard to allow for tablature notation. It uses "special clefs" to allow for seamless integration into abc (not unlike the way BarFly uses special clefs for neumes), doesn't seem to interfer with anything else, mirrors standard abc notation closely (with two minor exceptions) and should be a *very* valuable addition to abc's bag of tricks.
