This looks excellent to me.

Of course,  I  can  already  hear  a  revival  of  the  old
complaint about the English-centered nature of this.

And, of course, we'll have the objection to that, that much
of  English  music  terminology  is stolen from Italian and
French anyway, so what does it matter?

There is the old rule among musicians:  "If you hear a good
tune,  steal  it  (and claim it's part of your tradition)."
This goes well with the old rule in the  English  language:
"If  you hear a good word, steal it (and claim that it's an
English word)."
