I believe that we may be addressing two different things.  I am referring 
the font for the bar numbers that are set with [%%measurenb], not the 
numbers that are included in the repeated endings.  But that is a good idea 
also...

You could change it overloading the postscript functions 'end1' and
'end2'. In the release 3.7.3, I added '%%repeatfont' for that.
