Is there any interest in an alternate font for abc2ps, or one of it's
variants? I was thinking of something along the lines of Sigler's Jazz Font:

I've talked to Michael Methfessel, and he's indicated that the fonts were all
created by manually, and tested by sending them to a PostScript viewer.

I've been working on an editor which can output glyph outlines in PostScript
format. When it's complete, the editor should be able to spit out
instructions in a form that can be used by abcm2ps (and abc2ps as well).

Is there any interest in this happening? If someone could suggest a good
source of example notation (other than Sigler's), that would be helpful. I
could also make my PostScript editor available for people to try out, if
anyone wants to try their hand at designing their own glyphs.
