I would add one more thing. Change the "Subject:" line. These are
not questions about "abc for Pocket PC" so you more correctly
might have replaced those words with something like "Help for a
Newbie" or something like that (although, of course, if you knew
that, you wouldn't have had to ask).
As for your real question,

The answer will be program-specific, and therefore platform-
specific. It is not in the purview of the abc standard. Are you
using windows, Mac, UNIX, or something else? I'm using a Mac, and
the Mac program, BarFly will do it ["View" menu->"Sort index by"
->"Title"]. There must be some abc software for other platforms
that will do it, too, but I'm not familiar enough with what's
available on other platforms. A database program should be able to
do it, too.
If nothing else works, send me your tunefile and I'll do it in
BarFly and send it back.
Something else you might not realize about this list: If others
have already answered your question more completely than I can,
the reason I haven't seen those responses is that this list is
available as a digest, which is how I get it. Rather than
individual messages, I get an occasional volume of a day or two's
worth of messages at once. Digest #998 started with a post from
Sept 8 and ended with your post of Sept 9 at 20:44:36 (+0100). I
haven't seen anything after that.
