I can't comment on the necessity of iabc (or barfly), but as for the status of the Mac
clone, I have been searching since I started iabc 2 years ago for a person to work on
the Mac port, as I do not possess one. It should be pretty easy - with Fink and
wxWindows there should not need to be any changes from the Linux port.

Or if anyone has a OSX-capable Mac they'd be willing to donate...I'll even pay for the
shipping.

This sounds very interesting. What's the position on getting it for Macs? Or does Phil
Taylor's excellent BarFly make iabc unnecessary on Macs?
