Derek,

Not just yet. I don’t read music and I was concentrating on the playing aspects first. I will probably get to it for version 2

I would be interested in testing the program

You seem to have all the main functions covered

Can you view the tunes in standard notation on the pocket pc screen ? this would be excellent

Regards

Derek

Subject: [abcusers] PocketPC

Hi,

A few years ago I wrote TunePal for the Psion series 5/MX/Revo PDA’s (www.bryanduggan.com/music.html). I am working on a port to the PocketPC platform. I am nearly finished with the first version. A few things:

  1. The program will be free, with source code available
  2. Could I ask what features would people feel is useful to have on a PocketPC device? At the moment the program will support:

Playing all Henrik Norbeck's tunes

Transposing up and sown semitones

Adjusting the speed of playback (during playback)

Adjusting the volume of playback

Loading and viewing tunes in a file (obviously)

Viewing the source of a tune

Searching for a tune in a number of files

What features might people want that I am missing

  1. Is anyone interested in beta testing the program for me?

Thanks!

Bryan
