I'm not familiar with google caledar api and I'm not sure if  "-1" is a valid 
expires value, I copy an excerpt from rfc 2616:

"14.21 Expires
...

The format is an absolute date and time as defined by HTTP-date in section 
3.3.1; it MUST be in RFC 1123 date format..."
