Update for the Collection Adapter Implementation Guide?

I just wanted to ask if the adapter guide is going to be updated:

I was going to use IBatis to store collection entries in a datastore but 
was facing
some problems from the beginning (appropiate underlying data model, 
feed/server configuration).
I wonder if anybody has made some experience using the 
IBatisCollectionAdapter?

If somebody has a hint on this please let me know.
