I have built AbiWord 0.3.0 on BSD/OS (from BSDI)
I'm running with glib 1.1.5 and gtk 1.1.5, both of
which built without error.
I'm seeing the following things:
1. When AbiWord first comes up, there's no cursor in the main
window (I would expect one) The cursor DOES flash in once,
but then disappears and stays gone.
2. If I type in that "cursorless" state the word "The", a pixel
below and to the left of the stem of the T is set (blacked out)
for no apparent reason. If that section of the window is
redrawn (I drag another window of another app across it) the
pixel is cleared.
3. If I click between two letters in a word, and click (depress)
the "strikeout" button, then click the cursor to a position to
the right of where I clicked in thw word and swipe from right
to left across the area where I clicked, the application
dies in an assert:
