BTW, when I'm running AbiWord on NT and haven't saved the buffer, then I
shut down NT, AbiWord goes away without offering to save the contents of
the buffer.

Similar behavior on Unix - when I send SIGHUP, SIGINT, or SIGTERM to the
AbiWord_d process, I lose all edits in the buffer.
