I think that I would want to use Abi as a 'conduit' to get the text into LaTeX
format, from whatever format it happens to be. In otherwords I whould want to
preserve the notion of headings, sub headings etc. as well as emphasis (i.e.
italics etc). Anything else would ideally be optional at 'Save As' time.
I think you are right not to mess with the margins.
