When I start abiword, it will display an empty window.
The problem, I think, it is related to font path for abiword
(I experience the same problem, when I build it from sources,
without adding abiword font).
Anyway abiword wrapper seems to do the right thing.
Trying to do it by hand (xset fp+) doesn't help; also
adding FontPath in /etc/X11/XF86Config doesn't help either.
