This AbiSuite thing sounds really cool, but I have some questions and comments... First I'd like to say that it's awesome that you chose Gtk+ as your widget set; instead of rewriting AbiSuite for Windows why not just help the Gtk to Windows porting (maybe that's a bit unrealistic:) ) Qt programs can't be legally released under the GPL, their license is not compatible with the GPL. At any rate what I don't like is how your webpage seems to depict the GTK as a lesser toolkit, it isn't. Now that I've blown enough wind for one day, the big reason I sent this mail is to ask, is/will AbiSuite be GNOME aware? Integration with the GNOME desktop will really sell AbiSuite for me (and I'm sure most people who aren't of the cult of the K). GNOME offers so much, with such great methods I can't see why you wouldn't, and it would really add to the attractiveness of the program. That's my ranting of the day, but I am serious, this looks really awesome (more so if it's GNOME aware) -Michael Celli- ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
