Bullet is stuck

I typed the following line in Heading 2 (14 pt. Arial bold italic) with the
bullets in Standard Symbols:

Pan Atlantic Corporation � P.O. Box 470728 � Charlotte, NC 28247

(the bullets look like upside-down L's in this font). When I printed it, the
bullets were stuck to the P and the C. Why? I'm using the June 29 build (I
haven't compiled yet what I downloaded last night).
